Its percussive <em>chick-peri-ooo-chick!<\/em> song rang out loud and strong, but I couldn\u2019t quite see the bird. From a rustling of movement in the tangle of vines and leaves I could tell where it was, but could see no more of it than a glimpse of a shadowy gray wing with white wing bars.
