They did this many times, first the Red-tail\u2019s cry, and then switching to the Red-shoulder\u2019s <em>kee-yer,<\/em> and I wondered why. It sounded as if one of them started it, and one or two others joined in, and they went back and forth, taking turns, practicing or competing or just having fun. I don\u2019t know.
